Inside Sales Representative

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for managing and growing sales within a dedicated territory by quoting and selling our range of hydraulic control valves. This role requires a proactive approach to customer engagement, strong technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and collaboration with application engineers to meet customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- In all actions support Aquestia’s quality policies, safety policies and core company values of Fairness, Honesty, and Integrity.
- Quoting and Proposal Generation: Prepare accurate and timely quotations for hydraulic control valves based on customer requirements.
- Collaboration with Application Engineers: Work closely with application engineers to understand technical specifications and ensure that customer requirements are met.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers in the assigned territory.
- Sales Support: Provide support to the outside sales team and distributors in the territory to achieve sales targets.
- Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our product offerings, including technical specifications and applications.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Order Processing: Manage the order process from quotation to delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout.
- Achievement of Sales Goals: Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives for the territory.
- CRM Utilization: Utilize CRM tools effectively to track customer interactions, manage leads, and report on sales activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven inside sales experience, ideally within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
- Technical background or understanding of hydraulic systems and control valves preferred.
- Experience collaborating with application engineers, project managers, and customers to meet specifications.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in inside sales, particularly in a technical or industrial setting.
