Position Overview : The Regional Sales Manager – Central Territory is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market presence for hydraulic control valves and related products throughout the assigned territory. This role develops and executes strategic sales plans, builds strong relationships with customers, distributors, engineers, and key decision-makers, and identifies opportunities to increase revenue and market share. The Regional Sales Manager serves as a trusted technical and commercial resource, providing product expertise, application support, and training while collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve business objectives. Success in this role requires strong territory management, technical sales acumen, relationship-building skills, and the ability to analyze market trends, forecast sales performance, and deliver results in a competitive environment.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives. 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, influencers, and decision-makers to promote product awareness and drive sales growth.  

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and development. 

  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and budgets and monitor performance against targets. 

  • Collaborate with marketing to develop promotion strategies, marketing campaigns, trade shows and collateral materials that effectively highlight product features and benefits. 

  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers and sales team members regarding product specifications, applications, and troubleshooting.  

  • Conduct regular training sessions for sales representatives on product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry trends to enhance their effectiveness and performance.  

  • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and competitor activities to senior management.  

  • All other duties as assigned. 


Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or a related field.  

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in sales management within the fluid control industry, particularly with hydraulic control valves and air release valves.  

  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and managing a high-performing sales team.  

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.  

  • Ability to travel extensively within the region and occasionally nationally or internationally.  

  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.  

Physical Requirements:  

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while working at a computer.  

  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, handling documents, and operating office equipment.  

  • Ability to view a computer screen and read printed materials for prolonged periods.  

  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, and kneel. 

  • Ability to communicate clearly in person and via electronic devices.  

  • Light lifting of office supplies or equipment (typically up to 10–20 pounds).  

  • Ability to tolerate noise levels ranging from quiet to extremely loud.  

  • Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment when on the manufacturing floor. 

  • Ability to travel distances by car and plane.
